Inner Barrels – Technical Specifications
The inner barrel carries the hub face, the bolt circle, and the tyre bead on the inboard side. On 3-piece wheel parts, the barrel also determines the final offset of the assembled wheel. Precision here is not optional.
Our barrels are machined to the same AlMg3 CNC standard as our lips. Every barrel is drilled to the exact bolt circle and hole count of the target wheel brand, so assembly requires no modification.

FAQ
What is the difference between an outer lip and an inner barrel on a 2-piece or 3-piece wheel?
The outer lip is the polished ring visible from outside the car - it forms the front face of the wheel and defines the dish depth. The inner barrel is the cylindrical section that carries the hub mounting face and the inboard bead seat. On a 3-piece wheel, the centre disc bolts between the two. On a 2-piece wheel, the barrel and disc are combined into one piece, and only the outer lip is replaceable.
Can I order a BBS RS lip for sale in a non-standard width?
Yes. Our standard range covers 0.5" to 5.0" widths for BBS RS 15", 16", and 17" diameters. Widths outside this range, or intermediate sizes not in the catalogue, are produced on request. Provide the target width and the bolt count, and we will confirm feasibility and lead time.
Do you supply lips and barrels for Schmidt TH Line and RH ZW1 wheels?
Both are standard catalogue items. Schmidt TH Line is covered in 19" and 20" with 40-bolt patterns. RH ZW1 is available in 17" (36-bolt), 18" (38-bolt), and 19" (40-bolt). Contact us if your specific variant is not listed.
What does "no customs duties" mean for EU buyers?
Drimtec ships from France, which is an EU member state. Orders to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, and all other EU countries are treated as intra-EU shipments. No import duties apply, and VAT is handled at the standard rate of the destination country. Buyers outside the EU (UK, Switzerland, Norway) should contact us for a shipping quote that includes applicable customs charges.

Artec is a standard catalogue item in 16", 17", 18", and 19" diameters. Gotti is handled on request - send us the wheel or detailed measurements (outer diameter, step depth, bolt circle, hole count, and hole diameter) and we will produce a matched set.
